Nish Acharya, a senior adviser to Barack Obama, couldn’t log onto his emails for a month and a half in 2010 because of a digital security threat. At first, he panicked, worrying about how he could possibly schedule meetings, keep in touch with his team or stay on top of work with his email switched off.
But after a few weeks, Acharya was a changed man: he realised his focus was clearer and he was more productive at work. When he needed to talk to anyone he either picked up the phone or walked down the corridor to chat in person.

Atal Innovation Mission, Aster DM Healthcare team up to promote digital healthcare innovations

Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) has teamed up with Aster DM Healthcare to proactively support the mission’s innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives across the country with the aim of transforming the country’s healthcare infrastructure through innovations, NITI Aayog stated in a release.
Accordingly, AIM and Aster signed a Statement of Intent (SoI) for a strategic partnership to support the various initiatives of AIM programmes and AIM beneficiaries in India to promote innovation and entrepreneurship amongst the aspiring entrepreneurs in the area of digital healthcare.

Trade expert David Henig from think tank the European Centre for International Political Economy also spoke to the DPA.
He claimed that the approach of the EU Commission was inevitable because the relationship between the UK and EU remains “extremely difficult”. Much of this difficulty is due to the UK Government s attempt to reconcile its promises regarding trade between Great Britain and Northern Ireland with the treaty they signed, he said.
